"Sou realmente uma Designer? Fui convidada por Zigurat para formar parte desse blog em especial para falar a respeito do assunto . Felizmente é em português também, onde posso delinear melhor minhas idéias com relação a polêmica vigente. Mesmo porque são minhas verdades e você pode partilhar ou não. Falamos aqui do mundo do Scrapbook, do mercado internacional e agora e cada vez mais as brasileiras estão partilhando seus produtos e desenvolvendo trabalhos maravilhosos. Acho relevante considerar o conceito de designer que é um tanto confuso se pensarmos que quem trabalha com os kits; as meninas do CT também o são, isso coloca as compradoras; customers em um patamar de designers também? Sim porque elas irão trabalhar compondo albuns para seu uso pessoal com os mesmos kits. Em meu modo de ver, existem três tipos de designers, as que relamente fazem o trabalho todo; demoram de 2 a três horas para se fazer um tomate, por exemplo e os "designers de composição" que incluem membros do CT e aquelas artistas que compram actions , modificam as cores e tudo o mais e vendem a composição em kits. É claro que para se vender composições assim em forma de kits e ter sucesso, realmente as pessoas tem que saber o que fazem, tem que saber misturar cores, texturas , elementos e apresentar com charme, para que o público e as compradoras possam prestigiá-las. Coloco-as no mesmo conceito, pois elas compõe imagens e kits a partir de peças já desenhadas ou até mesmo extrations e assim vou chamá-las de designers de composição, como queiram, mas diante da hierarquia e responsabilidade com o produto, acredito realmente que essas últimas fazem jus ao título de designer de composição, pois um layout feito pelas compradoras com o mesmo kit , não as rotulam como designers e não colocam os membros do Ct na condição de designers, poderia chamá-las de aprendizes de designer de composição. Diante da necessidade de divulgação dos trabalhos, a corrida do ouro deu pesos e medidas ao meu ver, incorretas sobre esses 3 tipos de designers. Para o público leigo em geral, não importa o que estão comprando, o que importa é se agrada ou não. Para eles extrations com assinatura de uma designer quer dizer, feito por ela. Nem pensam que poderiam extrair imagens das revistas de sua casa e utilizarem para confecção de seus albuns de scrapbook de uso pessoal. Não poderia aqui defender que os preços dos produtos de uma designer de composição sejam inferiores aos daquelas que passam horas criando, desenhando e desenvolvendo peças ou actions , pois de nada adiantaria, pois o que as customers querem é qualidade de produto, que agrade ao gosto pessoal e principalmente preços baixos, não se interessando por quem fez o que e quanto tempo gastou. Proponho aqui um refinamento do gosto do público em geral, uma orientação democrática e por direito; o público tem que ter acesso de quem realmente faz o quê, retornando o direito das designers (que desenham) de verem seus créditos nas descrições dos produtos feitos pelas designers de composição. Compreende-se a necessidade de não colocarem os créditos, como preservação de seus produtos e isso infelizmente nega a identidade da real portentora do copyright. Não acho isso legal de forma nenhuma. Não estamos comprando matéria prima de um fornecedor de couro pra fazer sapatos, não é a mesma coisa. Na verdade, quem leva a pior são, de novo as designers, que demoram muito mais para fazerem seus produtos, levaram muito mais tempo de estudo para confeccionarem os kits e tem que vender a preços muito baixos para concorrerem com as designers de composição. Não acha justo que as compradoras possam pelo menos saber que realmente estão comprando imagens de outras pessoas??? Ou pelo menos quanto em percentual tem de digital no produto que estão adquirindo? Me perguntaram sobre extrations, o que eu acho: Sou contra a venda de extrations em produtos de uso pessoal sem nenhum tratamento. E um adendo que pode parecer un tanto perverso; quem vende tão somente, ou a maioria dessas extrations não se pode chamar de designers, talvez um tools supplies vendor ou coisa assim se é que falta nome para essa categoria. Pessoal, isso é o que eu penso ok? Não é verdade absoluta e entendo todos os lados das questões pela corrida do ouro, mas coloquemos as coisas nos seus devidos lugares, antes que não exista mais produtos de uso commercial pra vc utilizar em seus trabalhos. Pense nisso e valorize quem tem o direito de ser valorizado. Obrigada Gaya "

I think there are many designers in the world of digital scrapbook, and you mentioned very few designers...Why?
I think there are many designers that I really do not know and would love to know many talented and I know who are so dissatisfied with our situation in this market.
I named designer who has style, which works by creating from scratch or by drawing on pictures to do the job and even those who paint with finger on photo(to even get a good result it is necessary to know what you do) and being done well, for me are the designers. (Called American Retouch here in my country). Those who ask you to draw a balloon, a pestle, a fountain, a chair ... they have training, courses in drawing and painting or only talent do it with style. That to me is true designer. Who know the secrets of shadow and light, which has dash and resourcefulness to create what it intends to create. Who is not afraid to trade their work for big companies, because they know that copyright is theirs and nobody else. For me it does not matter whether or not I like the style, interests that differ by merit and that is what I want to show here.

I just saw another variation of original painting: A person takes a picture, change anything from it (otherwise it should change even more absurd yet) then open photoshop or another image editor and make use of filters own editor. Sell these images to commercial use (One image) with the price we sell a kit with about 14 images actually made by us. I do not know if the person is very "smart", or if she really thinks what do illustrators (DESIGNERS)to do it. They produce so much and is so easy to make and sell beautiful drawings, it is difficult for those who have them as designers do not know what to say - Hey, it can not , this is not drawing, it is not yours. That's Outrageous,a humiliation for designers who design. Here in my country we call it "Cara de Pau."
Maybe it's original painting of a filter in Corel, Photoshop, PhotoImpact or any plugin so pretentious, and the person forgot to mention ... so I guess I'm really BAD to think so. Sorry, but today I am angry that, once again I have to vent. The name of the person I swallow and take water, or mayonnaise and bread would be better to come down. You'll see why I am fat, or am I wrong in the universe to sell my work and if so I will also heal my tendinitis.

For several reasons:
We spend more time to make our kits.
People do not realize the difference between a kit for a designer to design "and a" Project Designer "
Price competition is the same.
Many of us survive this work without anyone's help to keep their homes, their children and not just a hobby, a way to earn a few bucks more, is a way of life, a profession.
People like us suffer more from chronic tendonitis.
Our credits do not appear, they say that a lot of work to put them.
So many of us, to gain time in the form of each kit, we started using extractions and other elements from other designers and retailers extrations.
For this problem and allow the pride of design to the Scrap World has decided to launch a window to the knowledge of "details", and proudly bring the best of designers, in my opinion, that make a difference, who really put their soul each job done. I wish each of you to promote this blog. I think a "window" of recognition should be cast into the sea called "Scrap Land", which grows every month, despite the crisis that we live in all corners of the world. I am not criticizing this or that method of making a kit to sell, because I know that the public really knows what looks good, beautiful, smooth and ready. I'm just defending a precious space of talented people, often with their own style that does not appear as they should. So open that window to the world, really think we have that right, at least.
